I'm an emerging self-taught oil painter from Kingston, Canada painting expressive portraits.  My artistic journey began at a very young age, realizing quickly that I had a knack for observational drawing, later took interest in graffiti and spent years in that world at the same time learning digital painting and character design where I taught myself my foundational skills. 

 

My first body of portraits is a meditation on the passage of time, memory, and that suffering beneath the surface of daily life. My portraits are inspired by stories of near death experiences and quiet moments of introspection.  Each portrait in solitude is a glimpse into an unresolved moment. My portrait paintings are my visual dialogue between nostalgia and suffering, exploring how personal and collective memory shape our emotional landscapes.
