For the first time as an oil painter I participated in a small event at The Bay in Kingston where my goal was to show a sample of a few of my landscape paintings and some portrait sketches in oil to show where I’m at currently in hopes of gaining some commissions and clients. It was interesting to learn about what people are looking for in a painting and what people are actually willing to buy. I got more compliments than expected on my lemon still life and I found it pretty interesting that people were asking if I could paint portraits of loved ones who are deceased. So here’s a few pics of my table and my setup!
